The Christchurch Earthquake
We were all very sad to learn about the earthquake in Christchurch. As a school, we decided to send letters and thoughts to North New Brighton School and to have a red and black day to raise some money to send to them to use however they wish. In Room 21, everyone wrote a letter. We drafted our letters, edited them and published them to send to North New Brighton School. We had to include some details about ourselves and our school, what we knew about the earthquake and how we were helping. We are really hoping that one day they will write back to us. It would be great to have friends at a school in Christchurch to share experiences with.
